Phish "Live in Brooklyn" DVD

"Phish's June 17, 2004, show at Brooklyn's Keyspan Park is headed to CD and DVD this summer. "Live in Brooklyn" will arrive July 11 via the now-defunct band's JEMP Records label in association with Rhino both as a three-CD set and a two-DVD package." [Billboard]

With all this fuss about McCarren Park Pool, I almost forgot we may get some Keyspan Park summer concert announcements soon too.

We've been waiting for this DVD for a loooong time...hopefully it lives up to the billing. Some footage leaked a few months back, and I think the ol' Pheesh community will be entralled with the post-production. Otherwise I'm gonna burn down Trey's apartment.

That was an incredible show, the popular rock band Phish playing through what some experts might call a monsoon. Thank the gods it didn't rain that night, otherwise we might have gotten wet...

This sucks... If i'm not mistaken this was the show where Jay-Z took the stage with them to perform "99 Problems" and "Big Pimpin."

Looks like it's not on the CD or DVD.

Ugh.

There were two nights that Phish played at Keyspan, so it's possible the other, non-CD/DVD night was the one with the Jay-Z performance.

i can confirm this was NOT the night with Jay Z. if you follow the link to billboard it shows the tracklisting.

Jay-Z was the second night and that footage didn't make it on to this DVD release of the first night.
This is the footage that went out to the movie theaters.
I believe there is some bonus footage from the second night on the DVD, but it's not Jay-Z.
However you can see the Jay-Z/Phish songs on YouTube if it's still there.

I was at this show. This was the first night of two. Jay-Z came out the next night. It poured rain (really obnoxious heavy rain) during a lot of this show and down on the field there was really no shelter. That sucked. Not sure why they picked this show to do a DVD of. Good show, but nothing too memorable (except that cold-ass, pouring, rain and also a shortage of porta-johns and also obnoxious security guards dragging hippies out for peeing in public because they couldn't hold it long enough in the obnoxiously long lines because the promoter (Clear Channel) went cheap on the porta-johns. I remember that too. I also remember it taking WAY too long to get out of there after the show, really obnoxious bottle necks. Maybe they'll show those parts).

I was at the show as well and it was pretty weak. It poured rain as soon as the set break started, like they had doppler 4000 on their monitors and Mr. G in their ear peices. There's some much phish junk out now. Its kinda sad...

Curiously I was at the same exact show and I had an amazing time. I'm looking forward to the cd / dvd. :)

The clearance $$$ for the second night for Jay-Z was too expensive for Rhino.

I wanted nothing more then may last Phish show to be great. But the show stunk! The Mikes -> Weekapog and divided sky, songs that define Phish, were just bad. With that said, except for YLT, they still blew any indie band i've seen. There is such better live phish stuff out there then this show.

I bet it come with some stupid baseball hat or something.
