Raffle's great - I purchased a CD from him once and still listen to it all of the time.
"I got a sweeeeet talkin' womannnnnnnnn" -- I think that's the only song he plays in the subway station.

This guy drives me nuts! I see him constantly at the 1st Ave L stop. I heard him sing 'waiting for my man' and it was horrible.

I used to see this guy all the time at the 1st avenue L stop when I lived nearby. He just has the craziest sound, I loved it. Keep looking for him at that stop and you're bound to see him.

Anyone seen those kids on the L who play a boombox and do backflips and dance REALLY good and roll around and shit? They were fantastic; they coudln't've been more than 15.

that asian dude is fucking fantastic. i think he has a rad voice and he actually made me miss a train on purpose because i wanted to listen to him play some more. usually on the 1st Ave L train station brooklyn bound side.

key is his name. and the myspace site is his.
i've heard him three or four times and have become entranced every time.
just a thought - maybe he'd object to his phone number being posted. what with all the weirdos on these internets and all...

yes, that's my pal Key. he's amazing. he's got a very distinct voice with an almost indecipherable approach thanks to his japanese accent. it's quite brilliant. every time i see him, i miss my trains and ask for him to play "Don't Let Me Down" by the Beatles and i will argue that his version is better and guarantee that you'll have his voice pleasantly stuck in you head. he usually plays late thursday nights at the 1st ave L train platform.

I saw him perform sometime last week and he was amazing with his cover of "waiting for the man."
