The Fall playing Brooklyn Lyceum on June 3rd?
Both of The Fall's upcoming NYC dates are sold out, and Tripwire and The Fall's (unofficial) website are reporting a possible third show at the Brooklyn Lyceum on June 3rd. The Lyceum's site doesn't mention the show, but does have a suspicious blank entry in their schedule for that date.

The Lyceum show is definitely happening. It just hasn't been confirmed yet. It's nice to see you mention The Fall, BV. I just wish I would've held out to buy tickets for either that one or the now sold-out Southpaw show. As it is, I'm seeing them at Knitting Factory that Thursday and they'll go on at 1 AM or some obscene time like that. I have no idea why they insist on torturing their fans like that, but who cares? It's The Fall!

Sold out?!? That supposedly bogus Pitchfork story on The Fall urged me not to get tickets. Please let this show happen before MES breaks another bone.

if you see the fall once, you've seen them enough.

The questionable part of the Pitchfork story (that The Cairo Gang was now Mark E. Smith's backing band as opposed to just the opener on the upcoming East Coast tour dates) was culled straight from a press release, so it's not their fault!

"if you see the fall once, you've seen them enough."
I could not agree more. Saw them a couple of years ago at the Knitting Factory. One of the worst shows I have ever seen. Some of these old bands need to know when to leave on their high note.
