Antony says see 'An Inconvenient Truth'

A MESSAGE FROM ANTONY: "It's been a long while since there has been a heroic gesture made in the American political landscape, and Al Gore has made one with his new film "An Incovenient Truth." The content is simple, and familiar to many of us, but the call to arms, especially for people in the United States, is unprecedented. Please see this film and encourage your friends and family to do the same."

I wholeheartedly agree with Antony. This film is an incredibly frightening, articulate, and necessary reality-check for a civilization asleep at the wheel

I also plugged this film after seeing it on Saturday at the Sunshine landmark theatre on Houston. It's an incredible film and the science presented in it is not even in the slightest bit controversial in its veracity. This coming from an environmental scientist (seriously, I have the degree to prove it). Go to www.climatecrisis.net to learn more, sign the petition to see the movie, and forward the link to everyone you know to encourage them to see it as well!

Going this weekend after the Big Apple BBQ.

It amazes me that nobody seems to give a shit about anything important anymore.

Also look for Too Hot Not to Handle on HBO! Another Laurie David production on how we can all band together and make a healthier planet.

I saw this movie last night after seeing this post on BV. I am no dirty hippie type, but I strongly urge you to see this movie, especially if you consider yourself a citizen of this planet. It contains important messages for everyone to consider, even though I suspect many will dismiss it as liberal/Democrat propaganda, which is unfortunate because we all need to be more aware of what expanding population, unfettered consumerism and thoughtless capitalism are doing to our planet.
