Broken Social Scene & Metric playing the China Club?
Are Broken Social Scene and Metric playing the China Club in NYC on July 9, 2006 (2 days after BSS plays Prospect Park)? Is it a private show for WPLJ (home of Rob Thomas and Jewel) contest winners?? Seems unlikely, I know. I'll post something if I find out.

let's see, NY is between those two cities. It's an open date. It's less than 4 hours from Columbia Maryland. I'm no rocket scientist, but I think the drive the next day would be a bit longer, but this could work.
Let me look at mapquest again to make sure Columbia isn't in South America.....

Still listed on Pollstar but that really means nothing...not on the bands site...most likely a private showcase

Apparently it is a Miller Beer private event. I've been told that they are 99% sure that there will NOT be tix for the public.
