"...the Bulgarian Bar (Mehanata) was closed a few months ago to be turned into a Ramada in. This thursday, they're having a re-opening party at the new location, 113 Ludlow, with Eugene Hutz of Gogol Bordello DJing. Supposedly he just got back from DJing at gypsy camps across Europe. Anyway, it should be awesome, and you should spread the word. Gogol also plays a gypsy benefit show the next night at Irving Plaza (sold out)..."

I was just here last night and it was unlike anything I've been to in the city. Everyone lets go and really just has fun. The DJ (Poodle Cannon)was super nice and accessible.

You guys do a great job and have one of the best music blogs out there.
