1) Proved that man needs no sleep
2) Picked 32 songs for this week's radio show (airs Tuesday night @ 10 pm on Sirius, Left of Center)

I WONDERED:
1) Where Angela McCluskey has been
2) Whatever happened to Telepopmusik's 2005 summer tour
3) Which Telepopmusik and/or Angela McCluskey song I should play on this week's show
4) If there was room in Jens Lekman's schedule for a second NYC show
5) Which Jens Lekman song I should include in this week's show

I DECIDED
1) That Angela & Telepopmusik are HORRIBLE at updating their websites
2) On which Telepopmusik song to play
3) On which Jens song to play (tune in or see the playlist tomorrow night)
4) That Jens didn't really have time for a 2nd show

today....

ALL OF A SUDDEN
1) My inbox starts filling with notices that "Jens Lekman is playing a solo show at Mercury Lounge on July 19th" - one day before his tour starts in Philly, two days before Bowery Ballroom. Jens had time afterall
2) I noticed that Angela McCluskey and Telepopmusik are playing a show at Don Hill's in NYC....THIS MONDAY (June 12, 2006). huh?

hi guys ...angela here....re the telepop comment that we are horrible at updating our website....
my website is based mainly at
myspace.com/angelamccluskeymusicthe telepop site that is on myspace is run by someone we don't know...i have tried repeatedly to get in touch and give the some new stuff and details of what we re up to ...no replies so far....
re the telepop site in france...there is nothing to update at the mpment as we are in ny recording new album....i keep everyone up to date on myspace as it seems to get more hits than my website which has been taken over by pills and porn ...nightmare...it was even shut down by a hacker....mama mia ..

anyway thanks to brooklyn vegan for being at the show....and for the photo....
re where i have been...we toured in europe up until the end of o5 then due to a medical situation i had to sstay in ny fro the last 6 months so telepop came here ..we are happily ensconsed in the studio doing new songs ...i am also in another studio working on solo album ..so keeping busy....
we didnt do summer tour because we are on emi and they dont believe in paying for tours......unless your mariah carey ...re the show we just did i had it advertised for four weeks previous..and as don hills is so small and telepop were only on 3 songs i didnt want to make a big deal in the press...
anyway it went well and i had a great time ..hope all who attended enjoyed it.....best
