METALLICA IN GERMANY | JUNE 4, 2006

I'm not sure which I want to see more: Roger Waters performing 'Dark Side of the Moon' or Metallica performing 'Master of Puppets'. .I think I want them equally bad desptire Metallica sucking now and Roger Waters missing 3/4 of Pink Floyd. So anyway, here's hoping Metallica take Waters' lead and bring this set list to America....
METALLICA performed their classic 1986 album, "Master of Puppets", in its entirety again Sunday night (June 4) at the Rock im Park festival in Nürnberg, Germany. The band played all eight songs in their proper sequence for the first time ever at yesterday's (June 3) headlining appearance at the Rock am Ring festival in Nürburgring, Germany

what many people may not realize is that Roger WAters does not sing most of the songs on DSOTM despite writing them, David Gilmour takes most of the vocal duties. i saw Roger WAters live, and he played many of the DSOTM songs, but its just not the same. hearing the song played by a band thats NOT pink floyd, sung by a guy who didnt sing it on the album, kinda weak. on the other hand, metallica smokes king kong ding dong so i think the decision is pretty much made for you.

Metallica may suck now, but hearing 'Master of Puppets' from start to finish would be rad!

Oh well, the old songs of Metallica were known to be the best ever.. And btw, I don't think that they suck now, I mean James still has the voice, and still not many can compete with him.. Even the new albums, you might not feel the cool rythems like the ones before, BUT you will definatly feel the strength of Metallica in them..
