Those are some great free shows. I would appreciate it if someone can let me know--Does one have to do something wacky to get tix like stand in line at Starbucks or print out their myspace profile to get in? Or just show up at the venue?

It is near the Bedford L stop. One hoops to jump through for these free shows. They are FREE and open.

This venue is really easy to get to you ride the L to Bedford and walk about 4 blocks. This is a great lineup of bands I can't to see who the Bowery put together for the show theya re currating.

Is Metric really going to play NYC on the 16th when they are playing in Toronto on the 15th and Montreal on the 17th? It's part of their own "Dog Day Afternoon" festival. http://www.ilovemetric.com/dates.html
Did anybody find out anything concrete about the China Club gig? Is it definitely a private show? Appreciate any definite info. Thanks.

It's a private show. Don't know if Metric are playing, but BSS are.
