Starland Ballroom is the closest Rollins Band and X get to NYC on their 2006 summer tour. The Riverboat Gamblers, who I just saw at CBGB, are playing with them too. The Riverboat Gamblers are also touring by themselves, and then with Priestess, The Bronx, and Wires On Fire. The Bronx are also touring with Lifetime in July. We will be the opening band, which suits me fine as they have the seniority but it also puts them in the crosshairs. Any band I open for, I am dedicated to smoking them every single night.
