Ryan Adams played Rockwood Music Hall & BB Kings w/ America, James Iha & Adam Schlesinger

America took time away from recording their next album (a double album due out October 17th on Sony’s Burgandy Records) to play BB King’s to a lively, attentive audience. Helping them produce the album are James Iha and Adam Schlesinger. Both joined the band (along with Ryan Adams) on the well-received encore of “Horse With No Name”. [Fresh Bread]
That show took place June 1st. On June 12th Ryan supposedly played a surprise midnight set at Rockwood Music Hall after watching Tom Ceraulo who played at 11:00. Rockwood Music Hall is the same place I saw Norah Jones play on May 24th which was the same night Ryan Adams made a surprise appearance at Mercury Lounge.
