I played Ray LaMontagne's version of "Crazy" on my radio show last night, and thanks to a commenter I was able to tell the radio audience that I heard The Twilight Singers were covering the song on their tour too. Stereogum found the MP3.

Reminds me of when everyone was covering Outkast's Hey Ya.....including The Twilight Singers.

The best part is that the subject matter is straight up Greg Dulli's alley. It totally sounds like one of his songs.

So we got Nelly Furtado covering Crazy, Paolo Nutini, The Raconteurs, Ray Lamontagne, The Kooks, MissingLink01...any more? Most versions are on Youtube.com.
