Last time Maiden played at IRVINE MEADOWS, It was absolutley unreal- I cannot wait for this F$#@!^** concert. One thing, Irvine being their last US tour date for 06, Please play at leat 6-8 of the Orignal oldies- The crowd wants it, I need it. The new album rocks, But don't just give me 2-3 oldies and the whole new album.
Work with me, Bruce

Going to the show tomorrow night in Jersey. I was bummed at first about the set list consisting of the whole new CD with 2 Minutes, Iron Maiden, and Hallowed be Thy Name being the only classics, but after giving the new disk a listen I'm really looking forward to it. We just saw Tool there last week though, so I'm not sure if this show will be quite as good...

I went to the Nassau Coliseum show for free thanks to Q104.3! God was it an amazing show, the setlist is as follows:
01. Different World
02. These Colours Don’t Run
03. Brighter Than a Thousand Suns
04. Pilgrim
05. Longest Day
06. Out of the Shadows
07. Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg
08. For the Greater Good of God
09. Lord of Light
10. Legacy
11. Fear of the Dark
12. Iron Maiden
———————
13. 2 Minutes to Midnight
14. The Evil that Men Do
15. Hallowed Be Thy Name

well, I like it that Maiden's play 6 new songs in every tour and then release DVD, so fans can hear many various songs played live. it's OK for me, if they play even entire album. Damn those fans, who are blaming this setlist because there is no Trooper, Wrathchild, Sanctuary, TNOTB, Run to the Hills and so on... Only bad thing - shows might be longer, like "Rock in Rio" was. 15 songs are not enough for band which has released 14 studio albums.

My friend went to see them yesterday (Cardiff, UK, 11/12/2006), and was amazed at some of the songs that weren't in the set. I myself am ready to go to the London show on 22/12. I'm amazed there's no Dance of Death tracks, and there's not really anything from their Edward the Great greatest hits album. It works great for people who became fans of the Irons from this album, but I don't want to be played the entire album, start to finish, knowing just what's coming next. When I go to a gig, I like to imagine that they've taken their entire back catalogue and put it on shuffle. Where are the classics, visa vi, Can I Play With Madness, The Trooper, Lord Of The Flies, Number Of The Beast, Run To The Hills, and some of the newer DoD stuff, like Rainmaker etc?

Just got back from Newcastle Concert.
Very different, but I guess there kind of proud of the new album.
Hallowed Be Thy Name was AWESOME!!!

i was at the boston show. saw the band 8 other times., this was the worst one of all.. best show. july 1999...to go see one of the the top metal bands and play that setlist totally sucked. if they return with that setlist.. stay home and save your money and go see ac/dc.. they dont forget about their die hard fans.. great seats, great band, shitty setlist...play some real stuff next time mike

First time i saw Maiden I was about 11 years old during the Seventh Son of a Seventh Son Tour in Austin, Texas at the Frank Erwin Center. At that point, I had never heard of Iron Maiden but my then 23 year old brother took me. I have been a die hard fan ever since!!! The second show I went to was at Anahaim, California in 2004 just as i got out of the Marines and I took my then girlfriend (she is now my wife) and she is now an absolute Maiden freak!!! We both love the new stuff however, I think Maiden must remember what got them to this point and freaking play the good old shit like Murders in the Rue Morgue which has some cool drum beats and Killer bass guiter beats, Powerslave, Moonchild, Seventh Son of a Seventh Son, The Assassin, Be Quick or be Dead, Sign of the Cross, Como Estais Amigo, The Angel and the Gambler, The Fallen Angel, Paschendale, The Longest Day, The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg, and of course oll the freaking classics such as Hollowed Be Thy Name, Run to the Hills, Iron Maiden, etc...
I dare Iron Maiden to play that list in the United States!!! They will be blown away from the craziness the Maiden fans will demonstrate! Also, RECORD IT!!! You guys love putting out live albums, put one out that comes close to the greatness of "Live After Death" I know you have it in you, it's just a matter of well,... Life and Death...
