So many good show options last night. I ended up at Yo La Tengo. Pop Tarts Suck Toasted went to Okkervil River.

The Okkervil River show last night @ castle clinton was awesome. the sound was great for a free show. the crowd was lively at times although security kept people out of the LARGE center aisle. cold beer, great music and FREE. what more could one ask for?

Good question. I suppose people could ask for a recording of the show but I wouldn't know anything about that...

okkervil river are definitely one of the better live acts going today, so much raw energy and emotion in their sets. those who missed this show should definitely see at least one of the bowery shows.
