“Happy 10th Anniversary Stones Throw Records.
Tonight (July 10) Percee P and Dabrye kick off a tour in Boston. Wednesday they play Mercury Lounge. NY Press says, “More New Yorkers know Percee P as the guy camped outside Fat Beats Records—where he famously harassed NYU kids and other marks to buy his tapes—than as a legit hip-hop pioneer”.
In October, Madlib, Peanut Butter Wolf, J. Rocc and others are going on tour in honor of the anniversary. They’ll hit BB Kings in NYC on November 2, 2006 (tix are on sale) for a show that will double as the Stones Throw 2006 CMJ showcase – Percee P, Oh No, Dudley Perkins, Roc C, Aloe Blacc and Georgia Anne Muldrow will be there too.
