The Ballet | Record Release (Ramesh) & Tour Dates
RAMESH WATCHING THE BALLET @ SYRUP ROOM (by BAO)
Gothamist band of the week The Ballet have announced their first NYC show dates since the Syrup Room show. Friday at Magnetic Field in Broolyn is their "CD release show... the CD is called 'Mattachine!' and it has 12 songs and some special guests (Ramesh, Linton from the Aislers Set, Rob from the Baskervilles). Ginger (our violinist) silkscreened the artwork herself." I'm definitely looking forward to hearing more recorded material. So far I just know the MP3s they have posted on their website.

Sunday 7/23 @ Cake Shop w/ Your Heart Breaks & Karl Blau
Saturday 9/2 @ Pete's Candy Store.

"We'll be selling the CD for $10 and there may be Ballet buttons and BOT t-shirts for sale too. For the time being, we're only selling the CD at shows, but hopefully we'll be doing some mail order shortly."

BV, there's another ramesh person out there, I'm the one you blocked and then unblocked, and when I saw that bolded Ramesh on there, my finger just twitched, and I had to come and just shout out.
