Band impersonating Redbone (another band) headlines Montana Fair
"Evidence suggests the existence of an 'imposter band' illegally touring the United States and posing as Redbone under the name (or alias) 'Denny Freeman.' Freeman, who Pat Vegas confirmed to be unaffiliated with Redbone in an interview with the Montana Standard, most recently defrauded the county-fair board of Butte Silver-Bow County in Butte, MT under pretenses of being a co-founding member of Redbone, yet not a band member." Maybe he was just impersonating a Redbone impersonator.

I have paperwork signed by Denny Freeman where he states that he is a redbone rep. I also have phone numbers and addresses for the man.

Three hit wonders actually. They also hit with 'Maggie' and 'Witch Queen of New Orleans'. I believe they also had a couple of hit albums and in Europe they had a chart topper with 'We were all wounded at Wounded Knee', a track which was partially banned in the US.

In fact, in Europe, Redbone had several hits!
Their biggest succes in Europe was:
We were all wounded at Wounded Knee, followed by other hits, such as Wovoka, One More Time, Come and get your love etc.
Maggie, Fais-do and the Witch Queen of New Orleans were previous hits.
So Redbone certainly was not a one hit group here and still has fans all over the world.
A Dutch fan.
