Hardly worth it anymore, even if it is free.

It may be worth going through the process on that site to see if you can get any other magazines you're interested in. I declined the Spin offer (actually I didn't, I'm just trying to act cool), but I was able to get a free subscription to Pro Sound News. I wouldn't be surprised if it leads to a bunch of junk mail though.

You should point out that you have to fill out a bunch of crap before it tells you that it's only available to US residents. I know you're from Brooklyn and all, but I'm sure much of your readership is beyond US borders.

You should also point out that Spin is a shitty magazine now.

Did you think you were going to be able to get the magazine for free outside the US? Seriously? Hopefully everyone in your country is not as clueless as you are.

I'm from a large city in Canada where Spin is available at any place that sells magazines. It doesn't seem especially illogical that this offer would be open to me as well.

Do you know why magazine subscriptions are given out for free? It is so that the magazine can increase circulation and provide their advertisers with a larger reader base. Ad agencies want to see large circulation numbers and also want to attract users in their markets. Canada is not their market. Why would they give out a free magazine to Canada? It doesn't make sense, especially with the added cost.

How the hell is Canada a much different market from the US? Are you really that ignorant? The exact same products are sold and released here at the same time as they are in the US. Every magazine you can buy in the US is available in Canada at the very same time. Advertisers consider Canada + the US the exact same market. You know weekend box office numbers? That's always Canada + the US combined, not just the US. Just shut up now, you've proven yourself to be another ugly american.
