why exactly was Boy George not given celeb status and allowed to do drug psas like others have done? not saying that that is right but feel somehow he got slighted here.

it wasn't cocaine possession - he called in a phony report to 911 that someone broke into his house or something like that.

According to the article BV posted a link to, "He called police with a bogus report of a burglary at his lower Manhattan apartment last October, and the responding officers found cocaine inside." However, near the beginning of the article, it says, "[Boy George] was ordered to spend five days as a garbage worker after pleading guilty in March to false reporting of an incident." The article doesn't say what became of the cocaine issue.

who hasn't phoned in a fake call to 911 or been arrested for cocaine possession?! this is an absolute waste of everyone's time.
