The November 1st NYC Knife show goes on sale at Noon. It's a CMJ show, so they're selling 250 less tickets than usual.

Actually, it's not a CMJ show. FYI.

Yeah, it seems too early to announce any CMJ shows, especially since CMJ is still accepting submissions from bands that want to play the Music Marathon. On the other hand, the date is during CMJ and Webster Hall is a CMJ venue -- are they allowed to host a non-CMJ show during CMJ?

thanks for the tip BV.

Thanks for the Knife update BV. As usual, your site is on the...
cutting edge.

i saw a non-cmj tv on the radio/the faint at webster hall during cmj 04
Posted by john | August 9, 2006 12:22 PM
thanks for the tip. 31 bucks, they better bring the fucking hits!
Posted by nick | August 9, 2006 1:03 PM
UM! My bad, the venue was misinformed. 250 CMJ badges will be allowed in.
Posted by Cameron | August 9, 2006 1:08 PM
Yeah KEXP was reporting yesterday it as a CMJ show.
Posted by Bao | August 9, 2006 1:11 PM
who cares if it's cmj show or not. cmj sucks. just buy tickets if you want to go!
Posted by cmjsux | August 9, 2006 3:20 PM
On sale now (10am). Just picked up two tickets.
Posted by m | August 10, 2006 10:12 AM
Sold Out!!!

Lucky bastards with tickets:
The show was spectacular when I saw them in Sweden week 28.
An extraordinary audiovisual hit experience up there in ranks with the gods Kraftwerk.
I would take a transatlantic trip just to see the show if there was any tickets left.
Black ticket market blooming on any NY web page ?

this sucks.......
Thank you for your recent purchase of tickets to THE KNIFE at WEBSTER HALL. Due to overwhelming demand a second (late) show has been added. Because of this door times for the original performance have been changed from 8PM to 6PM. The tickets you have purchased are valid for the EARLY SHOW. We apologize for any inconvenience
Posted by Anonymous | September 1, 2006 3:43 PM
they should at least of given ticketholders the option of going to the later show.
Posted by Anonymous | September 1, 2006 3:53 PM
I'm fine that there's a second show, but 6pm doors?! Come on, let me go to the later show. BS!!
Posted by Anonymous | September 1, 2006 4:23 PM
this is fucking bullshit. no option whatsoever. glad i took so much trouble to get a ticket as early as I could. should have waited.
Posted by Anonymous | September 1, 2006 5:29 PM
at least now we have time to catch something else after. but yeah, seeing a dance act like seven o'clock is gonna blow.
Posted by Anonymous | September 1, 2006 5:40 PM
are they a dance act?
Posted by jerry | September 1, 2006 7:18 PM
Of course not
Posted by Eduardo | September 2, 2006 9:59 PM
Of course, they are a dance act, unless you don't want to admit to yourself they are. Like that's a bad thing.
Posted by Anonymous | September 3, 2006 12:22 AM
Whatever! You'll dance to anything.

i think ticketweb is doing refunds for the earlier shows
Posted by Brian | September 3, 2006 3:06 AM
Yeah, but who wants a refund? I'm not thrilled that I got bumped to the earlier show, but I'm still going because there aren't that many opportunities to see them. We'll see, maybe they're better the first show than the second!
Posted by Emma | September 3, 2006 11:34 AM
Hmmm... it seems that the early show has had more tix released? Check out Ticketweb.
