yo, i was at sin-e on sunday and caught one of the coolest new bands i've seen in a while. they're called no pasaran. dont know if anyone has heard of them. i hadn't. the place was empty but they rocked that shit nicely. cool like spazzy, fugazi-ish rock, but with dubby parts and sonic youth noisy shit. gah, i'm a jerk trying to describe it. whatever. they're good.
