Thanks for all the links, I stolled on over this Sunday and all those reviews were pretty much right on. There was no waiting for beer, the northeast corner beer concession never had a line. They could do a better job with the food and drink concessions, not much to choose from. Didn't even attempt the porto-johns. Most people were just hanging-out enjoying a Sunday, others went up to the stage to actually see the band(s), it didn't feel like a concert until the last band, prior to that people were talking, playing freesbie, water slide, sitting in the back along the wall, reading, writing in journals, etc....very mellow vibe. It is sort of a Hipster Safari ride, hipsters in their habitat, but interesting and Sunday's crowd was very easy going (not crowded at all, just enough space for each to be comfortable), respectful to the place and scene, not any pretentious or rude behavior.

BTW - to those who think this pool can become a pool again and the ambitious design we have seen in other forums, it will take a lot of $$$$$. The pool itself is not deep about 3-4 feet deep at most and if you don't think 6500+ kids and parents can't make noise, check again and that would be daily. For now it's a good change from what was happening there before, it may need to adapt a little more, like the folks at Prospect Park.

Imagine if instead of water, it was filled with beer.

So where does one sit to listen to the paid-admission shows without buying a ticket?
