"On 18th September, Placebo will release a 10th anniversary re-mastered version of their classic eponymous debut.....In addition the the news of the reissue, Placebo have also posted on their website that a tour of the United States is likely to take place in October and November." [Plug In Music]
The U.S. dates will be announced any minute, but in the meantime, we know for sure that Placebo will unfortunately be touring and co-headlining with the horrible She Wants Revenge. Tickets go on sale soon for their November 7th show at Nokia Theatre in NYC where Placebo is listed as headliner (please be true). Tickets are already on sale for their October 22nd show in LA which doesn't even mention Placebo (leading many people to believe that Placebo is opening on the show?!?!?). All dates so far below...

it's sort of a fitting match, but yes, SHE WANTS REVENGE blow big chunks. people in LA really love them for some reason too.

I like Placebo much more, but think SWR is a fun little band. And people who were at the SWR Irving Plaza show seemed to be having a great time as well, so it's not just LA. There will always be haters.
