very sad for lee's passing. Such a great songwriter, still a captivating performer in his last few years... I saw him and baby lemonade at the bowery a few years ago, it was a revelation. RIP.

Lee was in great form when Love opened for the Zombies at Town Hall a few years ago. He was cool till the end.

there is, for sure, a car commercial, i believe it's nissan, that uses a smiths song. ah! the end has passed!

there was a car commercial (maybe not suv) a while back that used modest mouse for sure. I remember slapping my tv set. nothing happened.
