Doubt it. It wouldn't have been if it were on the steps, but since it's indoors, you could easily sign yourself into the building. I don't see why it would be a problem if you're not affiliated with the school.

Wow. Such strong feelings for an irrelevant band. Let's face it--there's only about three of 'em out there today anyway. Why knock 'em? They're innocuous enough yet fun as background music while you're sluggin' a beer in a bar.

Yes its CU only. They'll be checking ID's at the door.

They were amazing, of course. The show was for orientation and they were checking ID's at the door, but if you tried you could have gotten in. Spinto Band opened and weren't that bad actually. The Hold Steady absolutely rocked it. The place wasn't crowded, but the people there had a good time, even waving their hands like it was a Bon Jovi concert. They played a lot off of the new album, as well as everything else. The set was 13 songs deep and they even encored with Positive Jam and Killer Parties. Great way to spend my Saturday. Can't wait for the new album and the Irving show! Rock!
