I've always hated that ring of gawker blogs [wonkette, gizmodo, etc]. Tawdry, empty -- a circle of stylish pissmongers, all wink and no bite.

what happened to Manhattan Carnivore? It actually looked promising for a while. Well, "promising" might be too strong a description, but it did have actual content, sort of.

what's funny to me is that they keep trying to explain stuff that has already been covered ad infinitum (hype machine, bit torrent). I wouldn't be surprised if they do a little tutorial on "how to right click and save as" next week. The mus think theri readers are morons or at the very least mp3 and music on the net newbies...perhaps they are!?
