Probably no Lupe performance. He didn't play at Canal Room last night due to strep throat.

Darfur Darfur
Darfur Dafur
A traveling art exhibit of digitally projected changing images that provide a
visual education about the richly multi-cultured region while exposing the horrors
of the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
Created by film editors with digital projections of
photographs taken in Darfur and neighboring Chad by Brian Steidle,
Mark Brecke, Paolo Pellegrin, and others the event strives to create
a complete cultural picture – ranging from the traditional beauty of
the local culture to the desecration of war.
Music produced by MODIBA (www.modiba.net), including an exclusive live performance by
New York-based Sudanese-American singer/songwriter/poet Al-Sarah and
her ensemble.
All proceeeds will benefit the NGO the ground medical care and social care in the
region.
