are you complaining about $25 or happy about it?
because if it's the former, you are a cheap bastard

you didnt miss much the first time around... the show was very short and not terribly memorable.

the first shows were terrible. i was deeply depressed how much DB is a bore.

as a matter of offering a counterpoint, i really loved them the first time around. i saw the second night at webster hall. i've been waiting for the silver jews to play since abou 94 and was not disappinted at all. they played trains across the sea for crissakes. and dc caught his contact lens in mid-song, put it back in and kept playing. that's what i call professionalism, kids.

between DC's drunken, incoherent mumbling and whoever that new shitty ass bass player is, i'm surprised anyone's willing to shell out actual money for that overrated horse's ass

we must have seen different nights because he was defintely not drunk and incoherent when I saw them play and the crowd actually stuck around after the lights and house music went on and made enough noise that they came back out for a second encore. silver jews have always had more of a cult following so I'm not sure where you get the overrated part either.

i am assuming that was a joke - because everybody knows that DB is sober and EVERYBODY knows who that beautiful bass player is.
