the Basement Jaxx cancel one of two Webster Hall shows

"Due to scheduling conflicts the Basement Jaxx will only be playing the 11th at Webster Hall. All tickets purchased for the 10th will be honored for the 11th based on availability. The Double will support."

poor ticket sales AND lily allen is playing at the hiro the same night as the now cancled show.
lily is on crazy itch radio (on "lights go down")
i think the jaxx will be at her show and lily will be singing with the jaxx on the 11th

if that's the case, they should stop selling tix for the 11th now or soon...

i called ticketweb - they automatically transferred all the 10/10 tix to 10/11.
which, yeah, means bad ticket sales. if the two shows were anywhere close to selling out, they'd have to do some refunds.

not really inclined to believe the jaxx will be at lily allen's show and vice versa. allen actually backs up linda lewis, who has the main vocal, on "light go down."
and i meant to post this yesterday. great journalism, bv. how about citing a fucking source.
