Silversun Pickups and Xiu Xiu each have two show in NYC in October. Silversun's were both at Mercury Lounge. Xiu Xiu's were both at Bowery Ballroom. Now they look like this:

most important to note is that the bowery shows were 18+, but the Mercury shows are 21+....refunds from ticketweb are being issued

Man, The Kingdom are playing with them! i'm glad i know this cuz i was gonna by the ticket for the 12th, but i'll be sure to catch them at bowery because the kingdom are amazing!! K1 rules.

What the hell! Mercury's site lists Silversun as the opener Wednesday. Is that true! I bought the ticket assuming it was their show.

The Xiu Xiu gig at the Bowery Ballroom is one of the worst shows I have ever witnessed. What a pile of crap! If it hadn't been for the superb support performance by Marc Ribot & The Ceramic Dog I would have demanded a refund on my way out.
And only one person heckled all evening? What's up NYC!? No wonder a person like George Bush can stay in power when no one says anything!
