I was so mad at myself for getting to CBGB too late. I missed most of Avail. What I did see of the high-energy Virgina band's Bad Brains-opening set kept me smiling though.

I saw Avail in a small club in Austin back in '93 or '94 and I'll never forget the show. They were so ridiculously fun. By the end of the show, two-thirds of the tiny audience were on the stage singing along. I'm glad to hear that they can still bring it so many years later.
