CMJ is not just about live music. There are panels and other stuff and films too. Borat will be appearing at The Walter Reade Theater on Halloween and Oasis' Noel Gallagher will answer some questions after a November 4th screening of the new Oasis tour documentary Lord, Don't Slow Me Down. A film festival pass can be purchased for as little as $25. CMJ has the full schedule.

"Admission to all screenings is first come, first served. Please arrive early to ensure seating."

In other words, the possibilty of spending $25 and not seeing one movie is very high.

People that pay for any CMJ pass are suckers. And yet, people get conned by them year after year.

cmj passes, if you're a college student, are actually quite cheap.

last year, the cmj film passes were free to public (i think you have to rsvp or something), and even then, most of the screenings were not full.

why all the hate??
