Dave Hill to host two BrooklynVegan shows
You may remember performer, comedian & writer Dave Hill as a friend of Rufus Wainwright, Walter Schreifels & Fred Armisen, Moby, and Luna. Or you may just think of him as a fan of classic punk and metal. I like to think of him as the host of the first two free BrooklynVegan shows happening during CMJ this year.
Dave Hill hosts:
* Wednesday November 1st, noon-5pm
* Friday November 3rd, noon-5:30pm

MORE GOOD NEWS
Vitamin Water and Smart Water have agreed to supply some free drinks (for at least one of the shows). Plus, Rounder Records is sending some free CDs to give out, and Guitar World's gonna provide some reading material.
----
Stay tuned for the host announcement for the Saturday show.
Last year I did just one show. It was hosted by Aziz Ansari.

Vitamin Water, eh? Unless that vitamin is C2H5OH, I'll pass.

Rounder is great, many of my favorite artists are on that label. Congrats BV for getting their sponsorship!

"free drinks" as in free vitamin water or as in free vitamin water-based cocktails?

You sure the vitamins, etc. in Vitamin Water and Smart Water don't come from animals, somehow?

from Glaceu:
thank you for your interest in glacéau products.
our smartwater, fruitwater and vitaminwater products are currently vegan and vegetarian friendly.
please do not hesitate to contact me if i can be of further assistance. thank you again and remember to drink better water!

The glaceu representative didn't specify which products are vegan and which are vegetarian. I love vitamin water but want to get to the bottom of what I am drinking and where the specific vitamins come from. And why are they just "currently" vegan or vegetarian?
