How are his shows? What material does he focus on?

Don't be surprised to see Morrissey there.

This is great! Thanks! I was just talking about how Axelrod, Vannier and Morricone are all playing in the UK but not the US. Awesome.

Even if Morricone orchestrated the theme song from "Howdy Doody" for three hours straight, I'd be there but I am interested in what type of music he plans on performing. Sound track works, opera? I'll keep my ears open but I'm wondering if anyone has heard anything.

Dang, I didn't get the e-mail from Backstage Access announcing this presale. I must have indicated that I didn't want to receive notice of concerts of this type. But I wouldn't sit through an entire Morricone concert just to hear Morrissey sing one song.
"Morrissey Announces Winter Tour"? BS on the winter part — those dates are all in December, and almost all of them are before the start of winter, to boot. FYI: Tickets for Morrissey concerts in Mexico City and Guadalajara in November have gone on sale, and there have been a couple of reports in Greece that he will perform in Athens and Thessaloniki at the end of November. Not much of a window there for U.S. dates. Get your Morrissey news (and ridiculous speculation) at http://morrissey-solo.com/ not Pitchfork.

Nor would anyone want you taking up space for the sole purpose of seeing Morrissey perform one song.
Picked up 2 tix today--I got first row in the third mezzanine, near the middle, so there's still many good seats available. $60.

I wasn't knocking Morricone. I just haven't learned to appreciate his music. What can I say, I'm somewhat philistine.
