"The 'Respect Copyrights Activity Patch' features a large 'C' along with a film reel and a music CD, and all 52,000 Scouts in L.A. County can earn it by participating in several activities set forth by the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA). Among the items in the curriculum are creating video public-service announcements, visiting a movie studio to see how many people may be harmed by film piracy, visiting a video-sharing website to identify which materials are copyrighted, and learning basic copyright law, according to the Los Angeles Times." I remember when BSA used to be about camping and the outdoords. Now it's just the lil republican league of justice.

Un-f*cking-believable. The MPAA needs to lay off the kids. Soul-less bastards promoting their politics through innocent children. Real classy. Also, what's up with the BSUSA letting these fools use children as pawns? Is it just me or is this totally ridiculous?

Hey BV, are you sure you're allowed to post pictures of children w/o parental permission? Not sure if state law or COPPA covers this, but be forewarned... all of my clients seek parental permission before posting pics of minors on public web.

visit a movie set to see who is harmed?? you mean all the union workers who aren't effected one bit by movie piracy?
as ive said before, if you want people to pay for movies, stop churning out shit. its simple as that.
why dont they have scouts visit a movie set for a day, then see paychecks, then let them see their 4th grade teachers' paychecks.

Regarding the advice from "loyal reader": Just obscure their identities with your neon green squiggle!
Uh huh huh, I wrote "identities."
