They are giving out bracelets only, no tix... The line is quite long and I think they stop distributing at 3:30 (1 hr from now). Show is at 9:30." [thx Peter]

This band sucks so much...no idea why critics like the album!

I saw them on Saturday Night Live & I've never seen a worse band in my life... I truly had NO idea what they were attempting to do....it seemed almost like they are trying to be an Emo/Punk Queen or Styx.....but say what you want about those bands but they could at least sing & play their instruments...something which M C R could not...
I think they did "the ballad" on the second song complete with acoustic guitars and dramatic lighting...I only saw about 10 seconds of that before I scanned past... maybe S N L is getting incredibly shitty bands to make their bits seem better.. There were very few laughs all night...I really like John C Reilly as an actor and Will Ferrell showed up as James Lipton during the opening monolouge so that was worth something... but the days are numbered on that show. so to sum up...My Chemical Romance please give your instruments to charity....oh they wore those ridiculous marching band / military outfits...I just can't believe so many people can be on the same page of something that awful..

HAHAHAHAHA...an emo styx! that's brilliant!
not that anyone here cares, but i got an email from bowery saying that tix would be available at the door right now, 1 per person for $19.99. hope they have a lot of pennies stacked up.

Funny I watched SNL and said "What are they trying to be the new Queen?"

Wait, guys, they're the next Nirvana, aren't they? I'll go with the guy that said emo Styx. At least Queen were good once.

I also saw SNL, and also thought they were a combination of Queen and emo. I won't be buying any of their records too soon. Not even if I saw it for real cheap and on sale.

The guitar literally sounds like Brian May is guesting on the album. They managed to emulate his guitar sound exactly

You know it's bad if a Liza Minelli cameo is the best thing on the cd. Emo Styx is the most accurate, since it's deliberately over the top and extravagant, and also queen did have songs like tie your mother down which sounded different.

OMG! How can youe hate them! They are the best band! Just because you don't get them doesn't mean hundreds of thousands other people don't. Maybe if you gave their music a try you might like it!!!!

If you don't know anything about MCR you should shut the hell up! Get a life they're doing something good with theirs. They've raised money for breast cancer and other charities, have you? They speak positively to teenagers. You're all just not smart enough to understand them. Oh well we can't be all smart, channel surfers.

I love them.and even if i did not like their music, i still would because they are genuinely nice people, they give lots to charities as Angla mentioned, has given hope to many teenagers and saves peoples lives, at reading gerard told everyone that nothing is worth taking their lives over and I think that it was an important message. They have done so much for many peoples lives, so if you dont like their music, thats fine, but you dont have to be so harsh about the band.thay are brilliant. I agree with Angela.thank you.

Yeah... but the new CD is full of awful songs.

Okay, all you freakin losers who think u'all can top what MCR's become, feel free to try. You'd SUCK ASS anyway. And emo Styx? What the hell were u on when you came up with that great analogy? For me, their music took everyone to a place the rest of the world fears to tread. And my 17 year old brother, who is obsessed with rap, heard this album and was FLOORED! He and I love these guys and they saved our lives. If you assclowns REALLY listened to what every word on this new CD meant, you'd know why the world gives a shit. They did more in their 5 years as a band (and humanitarians if you can believe it) than what most of you assholes do (be it let's say, dissing them and then jacking off to Paris Hilton's cd) in a fucking lifetime! And personally, LIZA MINELLI KICKED ASS ON MAMA. Oh yeah, and QUEEN STILL ROCKS!!! So, pretty much, it's ignorant jackoffs like y'all that make me put you in your place. So piss off! LONG LIVE THE BLACK PARADE!

Well said. MCR are amazing they're so nice on interviews aswell and their songs are meaningful and give you a sense of hope and the songs make you smile. Personally i love them and they should keep playing to really annoy those people on this page who think they're crap. HA!

ok like you really need to listen to their lyrics they are deep and powerful.....if you are comparing them to styx you are way too old....get a life or at least read the words that gerald writes......genius ok maybe their performance on SNL sucked however but listen to their cds they are so so emotional I love them...please don't compare them to Queen freddie murcury was an icon of his time.... My Chemical Romance is the same for this generation....... I can't wait to see them at the garden.....
