Patti Smith New Year shows - now on sale
I've been a little obsessed with Patti Smith since witnessing her amazing performance at CBGB on Sunday. That said, the 3.5 hour show was enough to hold me over for a while so I probably won't be attending one of her annual New Years shows at Bowery Ballroom. But you probably should.

has there ever been anyone other than patti smith play at the bowery on new years eve? shit, i know she's a legend and all, but really, the bowery needs to change things up a bit.

What reason do they have to "change things up"? The Patti Smith shows sell out every year and people really enjoy them. Sounds like a good set up for all involved.

i love patti - my point is that she's been playing the same gig in the same venue for years and years. i'd love to see another band play my favorite venue on new years eve. this has nothing to do with loving or not loving her.
