DOWNLOAD: Peter, Bjorn & John - Young Folks (MP3)
I was just saying on my Sirius radio show Tuesday night that I'm always behind in taking about what I'm listening to on this blog. Specifically, I said that after I played a track off the Peter, Bjorn and John album Writer's Block which I love...like everyone else:. I think the love is unanimous - everyone seems to love them (like everyone really everyone everyone everyone everyone everyone everyone) including Pitchfork who I just noticed awarded them Best New Music.

Soon, Sirius will offer 75 of its channels (inluding at least some of Howard Stern's programming) to people who want to listen only via the Internet (over a broadband connection, naturally). I imagine the cost of such a subscription will be less than that of one for a Sirius satellite radio receiver (although you can listen to far more channels on a receiver). This morning, Madison (a Sirius DJ) said on the 1st Wave channel that you can sign up for a free two-day trial of this service starting Wednesday (Oct. 25, if she was correct).

I love their album. It is amazing, pure genius one of the best albums of all time. If you don't believe you can watch them perform tonight on Last Call with Carson Daly at 1:35 a.m. on NBC. I know that it's kind of late, but it will totally be worth it. If you miss this you will be missing an amazing opportunity. Come on people stay up all night to watch a meteor shower. So if your willing to watch rocks fall you should be more than willing to watch god like musicians rock out.
