"Byrne will be at McGill University on Thursday to talk music-business issues as part of The Future of Music Policy Summit, produced with the Pop Montreal festival. Titled Record Companies: Who Needs Them?, Byrne's presentation will examine such topics as how the fall of recording and distribution costs have tilted the economics of the industry in the artist's favour."
