I'm a buyer, either show, single is fine. Have to "put the name" on alist as a guest pre Friday. Happy to PAY up.

Let me know...

of course, now on sale via ebay for $1K+ each.

even google stock doesn't offer that ROI ;-)

Considering the scam potential on this it would be crazy to try to pay for a ticket outside of ticketmaster. Think about that before opening your wallet. And yes, my preachiness is called for in this case.

both are being filmed for Martin Scorcese's documentary on the Stones

hopefully the eyebrows will be there too - get your copy of Taxi Driver signeddd

what's a ticket scam? really? You mean there's a chance someone might not be honesT? NO way!!

If you have tickets to the Sunday show you have to go claim your bracelet which they will put on you and you cannot remove till your in the show on Saturday btwen 12 - 8 (If you have 10/31 tickets you get your wristband on 10/30)...the bracelts will not be honored if they are tampered...I also believe all tickets have to be used by the person who purchased them (which i guess make scalping the extra ticket if you got a pair the only thing possible).

Phish did the bracelet thing back when they played Roseland Ballroom in 2000 and it worked out very well...only difference with phish is you had to wait outside roseland for about 15+ hours to get the wristabnd...this made sure there was no scalping...show was a blast!

So if everyone has to through the bracelet thing to get tickets...how do these "legal" scalpers get tickets ?

the on;y other difference is that the Phish crowd smelled like a dirty bunch of hippies.

Hipppp-ayyyies!

Let's hope a lot of unclaimed tickets/wristbands get sold back/re-released to the public on the day of the show, check TM. And not go to the hands of brokers.

only a limited number of tickets were offered to the public through Live Nation.

You could've won tickets either through the Stones fan club or through a non-member contest.

Look for standing room only tickets to go on sale on the day of the show, hence the "limited view" seats listed on ticketmaster. standard practice at the beacon.

anyone feel like letting the rest of us know if/when the tickets go back on sale

That is excellent advice; I will look for that on the 31st. Thanks for your insight ondal!

Anyone feel like letting me know why I should give a shit about seeing these geezers?

Because they still play a kick ass show! Mick moves and sings beautifully. The band is amazing and so is the energy. I have an interview w/ Mick in 73' when he is asked by the foriegn press if he is a homosexual. His response - "When you f*cked as many girls as I have whats a guy here and there". Mick and the boys will never be geezers! Idiot!

Anyone who asks why he should give a shit about the Stones should leave music discussions forever and find a new interest like pottery or something.

The Rolling Stones are on a new Peter Frampton CD!

Charlie Watts, Bill Wyman, Pearl Jam, The Rolling Stones, The Shadows, the Grateful Dead, etc. The Black Hole Sun track is gonna be wicked!

anyway, check the ecard to listen to the new album

Couldn't be more off the mark. I am 30, work in IT, live in Manhattan. The last show I saw was Odetta/Madeleine Peyroux last night. Would listen to any music that is good and have never even thought of being in a band.

I didn't ask why I should give a shit about the Stones, per se. I asked why I should give a shit about attending one of their performances nowadays, when they're well past their prime, concertwise and otherwise. I still like their pre-Steel Wheels recordings.

And FWIW, I like garage rock, too.
