Altar also features contributions from several other artists including Jesse Sykes (Jesse Sykes & The Sweet Hereafter, Jesse’s bandmates Phil Wanderscher (guitar) and Bill Herzog (drums), Kim Thayil (Soundgarden), Joe Preston (earth, thornes, melvins, high on fire), Rex Ritter (Jessamine, Fontarelle) Tos Nieuwenuizen (Beaver, GOD) and Steve Moore (earth)."
