Any big fan of Talking Heads should see this band. I have yet to see a live band this good since the 90's, and they were definitely the best live band in NYC by far.

This band was great live, but $50? That's ridiculous, even if it does all go to charity.

benefit, jesus people.. the band plays a real gig like this once in 5 years and it goes to a very cool charity, and its one of THE BEST NYC LIVE BANDS in 20 years and you're bitching.. don't buy a ticket, save your money to go see 5 crappy bands that you won't remember 6 months later..

"One of the best live NYC bands in 20 years"?

LOLZ

Do you even have ears?

Then don't go. This concert will sell out at $50 and I bet they will have to add an additional night (Thurs or Saturday). If they sell out two nights at Bowery Ballroom at $50 a ticket with proceeds going to a worthy charity, how is that "ridiculous?" It would be "ridiculous" if they set the ticket price any less than what the market will support for the benefit of the Secret Smiles charity.

The band played 2 sold out nights at irving in 2001 at $135 & $65 a ticket (once again a benefit), I don't think they'll have a problem selling 'em at $50. And the show is worth so much more than that.

So yeah, don't go you brave, anonymous internet slanderer, you.

I would pay well over $100 for this.
Please don't go. More ticket availability for my friends.

anyone have extras for friday?

I spent $50 for the first night of the 2001 benefit and $150 for the second night. It was well worth it. If $50.00 to see the bogs is too much for you this probably isnt the show for you.

If i ahd to pay 100 i would, the bogmen are the greatest

There are very few bands in existence that I would pay more than $25 to see, but The Bogmen alone I would pay $100 or more to see them at a venue like the Bowery, throw in that the proceeds go to a wonderful charity and you just can't feel anything but overwhelming warm fuzzy's!
