The Hold Steady | more 2006 Tour Dates (presale)
As previously noted, The Hold Steady are playing the teany-tiny Maxwell's on November 24th. Ends up they're also playing the much larger Warsaw in Brooklyn just two days earlier. These and all the new dates you see below are about to be on pre-sale....

Same reason they play Cat's Cradle- it is kind of a venerated place for musicians of a certain age that remember reading about bands they adored playing there. For example, I have never been to Kansas but I am familiar with a club called The Bottleneck because it seems like every concert T-shirt I had in the late '80s/early '90 listed it as a stop.

bands play Maxwells for the door draw, which can be 75%, the free food and free drinks and cause its in jersey and jerseys great.
