I concur! Great show. Jeff Lewis and Christine Fellows were both awesome as well. All different, but equally stunning in their own way.

The Sunday show was amazing as well. John was wonderfully charismatic and the audience was just incredible. I've never heard such a quiet crowd at the Bowery, you could hear the floor creak. And at other times it was like of those concert videos where you can't even hear the singer, everyone knew every word. Set was heavy on "All Hail West Texas" which was nice. No Death Metal, but we did get No Children and a Frank Bruno cover, so all's fair among the 'oats. His second encore and closer was a bit of a bummer, but heartfelt and beautiful. One of the very best show I've ever been to, no doubt.

Im so happy i caught the show on saturday night. I heard about it on www.claphappy.com. they host a podcast every week of 12 bands playing that week in nyc... really cool.
i enjoyed the second encore was absolutly beautiful.. cant wait for their next show!
