Britta Persson -- Top Quality Bones and a Little Terrorist -- videos, MP3s & Swedish Tour Dates

DOWNLOAD: Britta Persson - This Spring (MP3)

Britta PerssonBritta Persson

I've been spending most of my free time since CMJ listening to new music, and trying to fix this $@#$@# website. I do that (the listening part) every year as it draws closer to that time - the time people expect you to tell them what you liked the best this year -- and every year I end up discovering at least one new favorite album and/or artist. Over the course of the next few days and weeks I hope to document my findings for all to see, but in the meantime I couldn't wait to gush over my latest crush. Her name is Britta Persson, and she's from Sweden (natch). Maybe I should just rename this site swedesthankyou. swedesplease, swedesthankyou. Download the above MP3. Watch this video...

Britta PerssonWatch the same song live-acoustic @ YouTube. If you like, check out the whole album - it's called Top Quality Bones and a Little Terrorist (pictured to the right). Some of it is also streaming at MySpace. You can buy it here, and for a real review, check out Stylus.

No upcoming tour dates on this side of the Atlantic. In fact, according to Britta's "shows" page, she has yet to play here at all.

The doe eyes are charming and all, but in any crowded bar there are probably five cuter girls I'm hittin' on before I see her.

Also, pretty boring.

ok, if you're hitting on five other girls first then i won't bother listening to her music....thanks for enlightening me.

Anyone else reminded of the cover of the Tori Amos album From The Choirgirl Hotel?
