Robert Pollard show & book reading & stuff

There are too many things going on in NYC tonight. One of them is Guided By Voices' front man Robert Pollard's solo show at Bowery Ballroom. Another is a pre-Pollard Pollard-related book reading at Cake Shop.

Marc Woodworth will be enthralling us with a reading from his brand new Bee Thousand book.....And Ben Sisario will be on hand too, reading from his acclaimed Pixies book

The books are part of the 33 1/3 series where an author writes a whole book about one record. The Decemberists' Colin Meloy wrote the one about the Replacements' Let It Be.
