Big Sleep / DOP show tonight & other related show stuff
If Tonic's website is to be believed, Dirty on Purpose, The Big Sleep and White Rabbits are all playing there tonight (December 12, 2006) courtesy of ASCAP and The Deli Magazine. Dirty on Purpose is also playing The Delancey for free on Wednesday. Deli wants you to vote for your favorite NYC band. ASCAP is suing bars.
The photo to you see to your right is Danny from the Big Sleep playing the free BrooklynVegan show @ The Annex in NYC during CMJ on Saturday November 4th, 2006. More photos by the wongway at Flickr. Elvis Perkins was there too. Perkins also just played Mercury Lounge with the Pernice Brothers.
Danny recently told Extrawack! what his 2006 favorites are. Dirty on Purpose told Filter that they love the Big Sleep.
White Rabbits just played Mercury Lounge with the Grates. The Grates also played some shows with We are Scientists & Oxford Collapse. Oxford Collapse are playing Mercury Lounge again on New Years Eve with Radio 4.

it's a (private, sorta) deli magazine party. the Big Sleep were on the cover of the last issue.
