I'm assuming these tickets are going to be expensive. Can I get some feedback from people who saw the Roots last time thru. Is it worth shelling out some cash to see this show? I think they had a bunch of special guests last time. Same time this go round?

the answers to all your questions. The Roots are always worth seeing, and especially now because their live versions of their new stuff is really phenomenal. and ESPECIALLY at radio city, they pull out all the stops. definite horn section, usually special guests, especially when a lot of rap heavies reside in New York. Gimme a Mos on 3? I hope so. And Cody came out of hiding in Florida (he had a kid ithink) to play CMJ with Saul Williams. Twas awesome. Photos i shot are here:

Lupe was great last night. Lupe sang one Kanye West song and one song later Kanye came on stage... it was hot. I'm definitely coming back to see him with The Roots. When do these tickets go on sale?

And by the way, Lupe's show sold out. There were no tix at the door when I got there.

last time the roots were at radio city they brought out jay z and dave chapelle id say its worth the money
