"The BBC recently debuted the Arcade Fire’s newest song, 'Intervention'..." YANP has the MP3. The radio announcer at the end of the recording is funny. Arcade Fire just announced five instantly-sold-out shows in Montreal. Stay tuned for those NYC dates.

what's the deal w/ ticketmaster? how the hell did those montreal tickets sell out apparently in 1 minute. at 9:01, the website told me there weren't sufficient seats to fulfill my request for 2 best-available tickets? someone please tell me.

Good song. They have been playing that song for a while (w/o organs). Check out the KCRW morning becomes eclectic show.

This proves that this band is a one trick pony. I was really hoping they'd get away from this, their one emotion they touch on in all their songs, on this new record, show that maybe they have some depth to them. but alas, it was just wishful thinking.

"This proves that this band is a one trick pony. "

or they just chose the wrong song to premiere. not sure why they chose the one they've been playing for a while - would've had a bigger impact if it was something completely new.

what's that one emotion they touch on in all their songs? triumphant joy? yeah maybe they should learn how to get glum, eh?
