Whoof... I saw this "band" perform at Irving Plaza a month or so ago. I rank it right up there with the worst live performances I've *ever* seen (and I've seen some bad ones). I verified multiple instances of instrument-synching, for starters. That's right--acting like you're playing an instrument when really it's being piped in.

And what's up with the girl "keyboard player?" I'm still scratching my head as to what purpose she serves, because she sure wasn't doing much of anything except trying not to look like a random college girl picked up off the street to stand on stage and clap.

To each his/her own, but I strongly advise skipping these shows.

I saw 'Of Montreal' perform last night at the Rialto Theater here in Tucson. I knew nothing of the band, went with some friends on a lark. I was surprised at the wild musical influences and the arrangements of this band; plus they were just flat out fun to watch. A very entertaining evening. Heck, even the audience was entertaining! Lol! It was certainly worth the ticket price and the time. So to 'Of Montreal' continued luck on your tour!

Of Montreal is a great band. Much better than anything else we have today. Elephant6.com go there, check out : Elf Power, The Gerbils, and The apples in stereo. Evidently not many people understand good music when they see it, or perhaps they are far to narrow minded to be there. Everyone who reads this enjoy your day.
